Questions

How is this different from Harvest or Toggl?

Harvest charges €9/user/month. Toggl Track is €9/user/month. For a 10-person team, that's €90-100/month for what is essentially a stopwatch with reporting. Hourflip does the same for €30/month — and includes absence management.

What about Clockify? It has a free tier.

Clockify's free tier is limited. Their paid plans start at €5/user/month and go up to €12. Hourflip is €3/user/month, flat — every feature included for every user.

Do you support DATEV or other accounting integrations?

Cost centers can be mapped to external codes (DATEV Kostenstellen, lexoffice projects, etc.). Exports can be formatted to match your accounting system's import format. Direct API sync is on the roadmap.

Is there a free tier?

Solo users (1 person, no team) can use Hourflip for free with basic time tracking and export. Paid features (teams, absences, API) kick in at €3/user/month.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored in the EU (Germany) on Neon PostgreSQL. We don't sell data, run ads, or do anything creepy. You can export everything anytime.
